Dr. Mehlhoff and his staff is very professional and his skill level and care is nothing short of impressive! I’ve been seen by Briarwood for many years and I appreciate the wonderful care that he’s given me! On one occasion, I had to get three wisdom teeth extracted from another dentist and it was the worse experience I’ve ever had. However, I returned to Dr. Mehlhoff for a crown on another tooth and it was absolutely painless!! I mentioned I mostly likely need a deep cleaning, that’s what another office told me, but she just said you don’t need that, just a really good cleaning. Ugh, finally a place not trying to upsell me which is nice to know it’s easier for my wallet to handle. Also, for Dr Mehlhoff, I have heard a lot good things regarding his work ethics that I drove across town from Morrison for a visit! He explained clearly what I needed. He and his wonderful staff made me feel like I made the right decision every time. I got all 8 fillings taken care of. And was able to get me in quicker with some cancellations and they were transparent with me about the costs before the procedures started so I knew what to expect. I had to cancel my appointment earlier in the month and they made sure to check with me about any times they had cancellations and I was able to get in about 10 days later rather than a month. Also, in the past the office has been super responsive and squeezed me in when I had a chipped front tooth. They got me in the next day. The staff were all very kind, helpful, and easy to reach. They have a text line, which I appreciate for scheduling and general questions. Once I got there, they were very welcoming, and I didn’t even need to sit down before they called me back. All of the medical staff I encountered, including Dr. Mehlhoff, were fantastic and I am confident in their practice. They employ advanced technologies and even have TVs to help take your mind off of any unpleasant work. Overall, this is a top notch dentist office and I can’t recommend them enough! I entered and was greeted by Shyla at the front desk with a fantastic smile as she welcomed me to my appointment. As I waited to be called back, we talked about our summer and caught up with each other. My Dental Hygienist, Stephanie, was incredibly warm, professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. As I've said before in my reviews, Dr. Mehlhoff's team is a well oiled and professionally run business and treats their patients not only as patients but like they are an extended family. They make the effort to get to know their patients on a very warm and personal level. Dr. Mehlhoff performed the final check and also asked me how things were going since my last visit. I just finished my clear alignment with them and I am happy with my results. Dr Mehlhoff has excellent skills and made my teeth look beautiful with some minor cosmetic touch ups at the very end of the process. I love how personable everyone is, it makes me feel very welcome. As someone who would always hate going to the dentist, I find myself at least looking forward to interacting with those at Briarwood. It's taken some of the anxiety out of visiting the dentist for me. I also appreciate how Dr. Mehlhoff explains and shows what's going on with my dental health. Most importantly, the staff is friendly, professional and very skilled. My exam and cleaning were among the most thorough I've had in my long years. Dr. Chris Mehlhoff took the time to review my 3D x-rays and photographic images with me in detail. The feedback he gave me made me confident that I was in good hands. One of the biggest was the way I was always guilted into better oral care by dentists and their staff, usually in a condescending way. Some cleanings seemed done by a sadist who wanted to punish me for not flossing enough. Briarwood is different. They’re patient and gentle, they answer questions thoroughly. Throughout this time, I had been to various other dental offices including comfort dental when I was uninsured. I have always left not wanting to return. Briarwood is a different story. Doctor Mehlhoff is great and has helped me start to get things back on track. He is clearly an expert at his craft. I found Dr Mehlhoff when I had to have my two upper front teeth repaired. One needed to have a bone graft and an implant and the other was cracked and had been repaired by another dentist years ago but was deteriorating. The care that was taken by Dr Mehlhoff to ensure precision was impressive. The crowns came out super nice and looks natural. Thank you and all of your staff for all you do. I am very happy to know I have found a great place for my dental needs. Anyone looking for a great dentist should do themselves a favor and call your office! Thank You! I just want to update this one because I felt it was a true reflection of their service. As a proactive person for my dental needs, I don't have to worry about getting in to see the dentist for a cleaning or any other procedure because they have a fabulous wait list set-up to help get everyone accommodated. For example, today I found out I needed a filling when I came in for my cleaning. Someone cancelled their appointment for tomorrow, so I can jump in during my lunch hour and get my filling done! In my previous experience with dentists, I would have to wait at least 3-4 months! Another bonus is for my son! He has extreme anxiety for dental work and they are extremely accommodating towards him and his needs. I am extremely grateful!Posted on Google

She, of course, is still amazing and I recommend her to everyone. My first visit to Dr. Mehlhoff was to fix a new filling from my previous dentist. He did a great job fixing that and since then I've gotten a new filling, a new crown for an existing implant and a new crown on another tooth. Dr. Melhloff is kind, attentive, very thorough and easy to work with. I previously always hated going to the dentist (I mean, who doesn't?) so my highest compliment is that even considering all of the things I've had done, I don't mind going to the dentist. Shyla at the front desk is wonderful and always welcoming and efficient. I honestly can't say enough good things about the entire staff. I've had great such experiences with each member of the staff that I've encountered: - Dr. Mehlhoff is slow to judge and has a great sense of humor. He has a knack for making patients feel comfortable in the chair that I can honestly say I have not experienced elsewhere. - Shyla is always so accommodating and helpful. She is empathetic and helps me to sort out any trouble I may get myself into. - Julie is the most incredible hygienist I've ever had. Not only do I walk out of the office boasting my pearly whites, but I actually have a better understanding as to what I need to do to care for them after the fact. I've never have a hygienist that actually took the time to educate me! - Anastasia helped me to overcome my fear of needles and let me cry in the chair for a bit without judgement. Such a kind soul! I felt very safe COVID-wise, they took that very seriously (I was the only patient in the office). They were extremely thorough and walked me through all the steps I need to take in the future and everything they were doing. Their online portal made filling out forms easy. AND they were exceptionally friendly, and even had a cute little sign with my name on it welcoming me in! They go the extra mile to make your experience great :-)Posted on Google

I am so glad I made the decision to stay as he is one of the most kind persons I have met in my life. He has surrounded himself with a great office staff and excellent Hygienists. L P22 December 2020I have had extensive dental work done since I was a child; from an underbite, to braces, fillings, to root canals, crowns and implants galore. So much work that it became common to dig my nails into my forearm bc of the anxiety during a dental procedure. So, to say I have high expectations and anxiety at the dentist would be an understatement. Not only did Dr. Mehlhoff exceeded those expectations he did it with outstanding class and detail. I have NEVER met a dentist so tedious and thorough with his craft; the best part, he actually cares about what you think and need. He took the time to walk me through my scans and explained the necessity of his recommendations and really conveyed the importance of what needed to be done rather than try to sell me the most expensive fix. He maintained that same patience and courtesy throughout the procedure. The flow of the comradery between himself and his staff; you can really tell they respect each other and enjoy working together. They are all so kind and intuitive. Anna, his assistant, took the initiative and time to explain the tiniest things, create the calmest distractions during the “worst parts” of the visit, just to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. I have NEVER felt more comfortable at the dentist than I did today, I even caught myself not digging my nails into my forearm the moment I realized I had nothing to worry about. From one frontline clinician to another; THANK YOU, Dr. Mehlhoff and your team for being so flexible and present, for sacrificing your health and safety for the health of others. Gone are the days of waiting weeks or more for a crown; worrying about a temporary crown that could pull loose at any money and get swallowed while one sleeps! Thanks to Dr. Mehlhoff, and his artistic prowess with a 3-D printer and a hand-held scanner, my new crown looks and feels like a natural tooth! I couldn't be more pleased! She made sure everything was perfect and went smoothly. Julia, the hygienist, was an all star champion. & last (but certainly not least!) Dr. Melhhoff was very gentle and fun! The TV on the ceiling is a nice touch & everything was sanitized and safe.
